Updated: Jul 27, 2022
The use of drones for aerial photography has exploded in recent years as drones with high-quality cameras have become more economical. Everything from YouTube videos, journalism, advertisements, movies, etc use the help of these little devices to create breathtaking scenes.

After exploring several different drone models here are the best drones which are both affordable and provide great performance:
DJI Mini 3 Pro
This ultra-lightweight drone weighing less than 249gm comes with collision sensors in three directions and has a new camera gimble capable of turning the camera to take shots in portrait.
It has larger propellers and a unique aerodynamic tilt, the vertical shooting option gives room for more creativity as well. It comes with options for extended battery life as well as a remote controller with a screen to avoid connecting your phone all the time.
DJI Mavic 3
This model exceeds its predecessor with a 4/3 image sensor and a Hasselblad camera giving you 5.1k video shooting capability along with 20-megapixel photos. It is packed with a big battery giving it the longest battery life seen in any drone out there (approx. 45min), it also has omnidirectional obstacle sensing capability and two cameras. Its Mavic 3 cine option comes with a 1TB SSD as well.
DJI Air 2S
This model comes with a 1inch image sensor that captures anything with rich clarity and authentic color tones, it provides 5.4k videos, and being around 600gm is perfect for being on the move. It also comes with intelligent hdr technology and obstacle sensing in 4 directions.
Overall it packs a lot in the drone's slim and redesigned chassis.
Autel Robotics EVO II
This robust heavy and rugged-looking drone comes with a 48-megapixel camera and 8k video capability. Its slim orange look makes it more consumer friendly. With omnidirectional sensing, it can pretty much protect itself in the air. It comes with its partner app Autel Explorer which has all the features you might expect from it.
It comes with an option of a 3.3inch screen on the remote control to avoid going to the trouble of using a mobile phone.
Parrot Anafi AI
This affordable drone comes with a high res 21mp 1/2.4 inch camera capable of shooting 4k videos. It comes with the unique ability to tilt upward and combine that with its lossless digital zoom and its log recording mode this drone is worth its cost. It is also relatively easier to use with a quick learning curve.
Autel Evo Nano
It comes in two versions one with a 12.7mm sensor and a Nano+ version with a 19.8mm sensor.
It gives a good live preview of 2.7k 30 fps quality and comes with collision detecting in three directions. Consumers should also be happy with the super download feature which provides wireless transfer of photos and videos of up to 160MB/s.
DJI Mini SE
It comes under the most portable, safe, and lowest weight class of drones providing 2.7 k video quality which is more than enough for many people who are not into professional shooting.
It works well even in wind compared to other lightweight drones because of its 3-axis camera stabilizer. Unfortunately, it doesn't come with any forward collision sensors and supports only jpeg format.
